JACQUES ROSSOUW

A growing record of spaces where my work has lived beyond the studio, shared and experienced by others.

Each exhibition marks a moment in my creative journey.
Whether part of a collective show or a solo exploration, these are the places where my visual language has met its audience and where new conversations have begun.

Roze Kunstlijn is a group exhibition organized by the Municipality of Heemstede in collaboration with local galleries.
For the 2025 edition, the theme was LOVE, with a focus on expressions of love within the LGBTQ+ community.

This exhibition brought together diverse voices and visual narratives exploring identity, connection, and the many forms that love can take, especially when it must resist, heal, or reinvent itself.

This group exhibition brings together the artists with whom I share a studio, a space that has become both a creative home and a place of connection.

We each bring our own backgrounds, disciplines, cultures, and stories, yet through our shared practice, drawing and painting from life, we’ve created something deeply collective.

The theme Grenzeloos ("Without Borders") reflects the spirit of this collaboration. It speaks to more than just geography or age, it’s about openness, exchange, and the freedom to create without boundaries.

This exhibition offers a glimpse into our studio life and the unique works that have emerged from this space of curiosity and community.
